Job Title:  Web Software Developer (E-commerce)

Location:  Rawlings Sporting Goods, St. Louis, MO


Serves as a web software development resource for Rawlings Sporting Goods with a focus on e-commerce for rawlings.com.  Responsible for managing and extending the existing storefront code while working with the entire digital team to create delightful user experiences.


  •  Lead the creation of new digital experiences
  • Maintain existing code and troubleshoot any development issues
  • Build pipelines, controllers, scripts and integrations to support the e-commerce platform
  • Manage the build process participating in deployment and quality assurance of assets
  • Responsible for the maintenance of code/assets in version control systems
  • Assess appropriate software, frameworks and applications for implementation
  • Participate in training to ultimately become the go-to resource on Salesforce Commerce Cloud


  •  3+ years' experience in web development
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Commerce experience a plus (Salesforce Commerce, Magento, WebSphere Commerce, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL and managing/architecting relational database systems
  • Experience with Git or similar version control required
  • Full-stack experience a plus (Node.js, C#, Java, PHP, etc.)
  • Ability to take direction or work autonomously when needed
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, graphic design, or related experience


Must have proven excellent written presentation and verbal communication skills. 


Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra.


Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
